The Town of Summerton, South Carolina will receive Sealed Bids for the Sewer System Improvements Project until 10:00 a.m. on Thursday April 3, 2025 at the Town of Summerton, 10 Main Street, Summerton, SC 29148, at which time and place all Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the above address.

Bids are invited upon the several items and quantities of work as follows: Construction of approximately 16,349-linear feet of 10-inch diameter gravity sewer cured-in-place pipe lining; access clearing; pre and post-rehabilitation CCTV sewer inspection; gravity sewer pipe cleaning and root removal; gravity sewer point repairs; rehabilitation of approximately 52 gravity sewer manholes; landscape restoration and erosion control; and all other necessary appurtenances as specified and depicted in the Contract Documents. The base bid for the project includes approximately 1,363-linear feet of 10-inch diameter gravity sewer cured-in-place pipe lining, rehabilitation of approximately 9 gravity sewer manholes, and associated work and appurtenances. The remaining 14,986-linear feet of gravity sewer cured-in-place pipe lining and rehabilitation of 43 gravity sewer manholes is included in seven (7) bid alternates.
