Mr. Bingham received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of South Carolina, Magna Cum Laude, and holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering. Prior to the establishment of American Engineering Consultants, Inc., he served as Vice President of Engineering for Hercules Contractors and Engineers, Inc.

During his tenure, he received extensive training in construction project management, CPM project scheduling techniques, and construction cost estimating in the municipal water and wastewater infrastructure field. He brings experience into the practice of engineering that is invaluable as a project manager and design engineer. Mr. Bingham specializes in computer analysis, modeling, and design of all types of civil and environmental engineering projects. His education and expertise extends over a broad spectrum including structural analysis, roadways and land development, water resources and hydrology, environmental treatment process, electrical instrumentation, and control systems.

In 2022, Mr. Bingham earned his AAEES National Board Certification as an Environmental Engineer in the field of Water Supply/Wastewater Engineering. Mr. Bingham is one of less than 10 consulting engineers in the state of SC to hold this distinction.

Mr. Bingham brings over 44 years of experience in both the design of facilities from an engineering perspective and their construction from a contractor perspective to our clients. Mr. Bingham is licensed in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia and Florida.
